HOUSE:

Eirinhas Cottages 1 and 2 were built in the beginning of the 20th Century. These Cottages are situated in a quiet and peaceful location in Madeira and have a superb sea view. Due to its altitude, the view covers a wide area of the ocean. Throughout the year you can enjoy lovely sunsets with different tonalities over the sea. Each sunset is unique! The cottages are made of basaltic stone and they are prepared for you to enjoy a comfortable and relaxed holiday in the middle of nature.

ABOUT US:

In the year 2000, in one of our trips to the countryside, we discovered some old houses from local people of Fajã da Ovelha that were in ruins. The two houses used to belong to local families who were engaged in agriculture, years before. While still in possession of the previous owner’s granddaughter, we decided to buy and restore the cottages. As these were typical constructions of Madeira, in basaltic stone, we respected its original traits. Later on, due to the interest shown by tourists who happened to spend holidays nearby, we decided to start its exploration in order to welcome new potential interested guests. We are delighted to share with our guests our caringly restored cottages and their unique sea sight. We hope you enjoy and spend a relaxed and unforgettable holiday.
