Cottage1

The larger of the two, developed on 2 floors:

 

Ground floor: 2 bedrooms

 

Upper floor:

 

  • Livingroom, kitchen, bathroom, porch with view over the sea where you can have a lovely breakfast or meal.

 

  • Access to upper garden, terrace and barbecue shared with cottage 2. Garden tables and sun loungers.
  • One parking space in the garden shared with both houses but possibility of parking outside the house (car needed). 
  • As our property is located in a place off the beaten track, we do dot recommend the use of very low powered cars.

 

General facilities: cable TV, wifi, heater, iron and board, hairdryer, washing machine for clothes, linen and towels.

 

Kitchen facilities: stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, cooking devices, coffee machine, toaster, sandwich toaster, water kettle, citrus juicer, hand blender, chopper, stand mixer, electric cutter.

 

Capacity: 4 guests

 

Minimum stay: 4 nights

 

 

Cottage 1 is prepared for 4 people. However if it is a group of 6 people  both cottages ( 1 & 2) can be used as they are in the same property.

 

 

Cottage 2

Small cottage ideal for two people:

 

One floor: Bedroom, private bathroom, living room, kitchenette.

 

  • Access to lower garden, terrace and barbecue, shared with cottage 1. Garden tables and sun loungers.

 

  • One parking space in the garden, shared with both cottages but possibility of parking outside the house (car needed)
  • As our property is located in a place off the beaten track, we do not recommend the use of very low powered cars.

General facilities: cable TV, wifi, heater, hairdryer, linen and towels.

 

Kitchen facilities: stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, cooking devices, coffee machine, toaster, sandwich toaster, water kettle, citrus juicer, hand blender, chopper, electric cutter.

Cottage 2 is prepared for 2 people. However if it is a group of 6 people  both cottages ( 1 & 2) can be used as they are in the same property.

 

Outside Cottages Facilities

For typical food you have wonderful restaurants nearby:

  • We strongly recommend Prazeres Rurais restaurant which has a very reasonable price for the high quality food. The amounts allow you to eat and even take away (Phone: 00351963966818/ 00351291827221; facebook: casagrelhadosprazeresrurais.

 

You have also these restaurants:

  • Chico, O Manjerico, Olhar do Campo and Solar dos Prazeres (you can look up in trip advisor).

 

Medical services: Centro de Saúde  da Fajã da Ovelha (aproximately 2 km) e Centro de Saúde da Calheta.

 

Pharmacy: in Calheta

 

Other:

ATM in Paul do mar (5km) and another in Prazeres;

SnackBars (Sunshine snackbar with grocery shop, (1km from the cottages);

Restaurant/ Snackbar O Precipício (1.5km from the cottages);

Mini Market in front of the sunshine snackbar;

Bakery (Panoeste in Estrada Regional 2km from the cottages); Church near the cottages. 

In Paúl do Mar you have Maktub a surf pub with reaggae music where you can have drinks such as mojitos, caipirinha, coconut juice and snaks, lunch or dinner and a yellow sand beach in Calheta.
